Dr Jennifer Tsuruda 50th Anniversary Guest Speaker

Dr Jennifer Tsuruda, TN Apiculture Specialist, will be Cherokee’s 50th Anniversary Harvest Dinner guest speaker. She is originally from California and conducted her undergraduate and graduate studies at UC Davis with Dr. Robert Page. She then worked with Dr. Greg Hunt at Purdue University as a postdoctoral researcher and was SC’s apiculture specialist at Clemson University before coming to TN in February. She hit the ground running by establishing apiaries, teaching Master Beekeeping Program classes, and working with Extension agents. It’s exciting to have Jennifer as our guest speaker.
