We had good attendance at our March meeting. The discussion on installing package bees was very informative. Several of our members have packages arriving the first part of April. Can't wait to hear at our next meeting how the install went for everyone! Remember to register your hives with the State.

John Hartman gave a demonstration on box and frame assembly. How to install foundation to be used for extraction was also discussed. He mentioned some people use a frame jig to assembly multiple frames. Plans for Frame Jig Link
Make sure your bees have plenty of honey to eat or you may need to start feeding! See you in April!!
